Domestic Violence Services for Families - Oahu

(Domestic Violence Services for Families) When child abuse occurs in the home, violent behavior towards spouses and others is also often present. Batterers are assessed and provided opportunities to learn alternative attitudes and behaviors. This program works with families involved in the child welfare system who are also experiencing domestic violence. Staff work with each family to assess for domestic violence and/or risk factors related to domestic violence. A care plan is developed for each family member.
