Eligibility

There is a screening and licensing process for prospective therapeutic foster parents. Parents must meet all DHS licensing requirements for foster board homes.

Application process

Phone. There is a screening process for prospective therapeutic foster parents. Referral required for children and youth by the Department of Health Family Guidance Centers.
