Aging - 60 years and older depending on service. Any individual with a disability. Frail/vulnerable elderly and/or caregivers and individuals with disabilities.

Hawaii (Big Island)

Assesses the levels of services needed by older persons in Hawaii County and develops programs that address these needs. Awards contracts to service providers in the community who have shown the ability and willingness to deliver quality programs efficiently. Provides technical assistance and monitors and evaluates their performance. Coordinates the administration of services with other agencies. Coordinates training programs for those who provide services to older persons. Assures older persons in Hawaii County of convenient access to information and referral services and disability parking permits.
