Immersed in all aspects of cultivating kalo, participants deepen their understanding of Hawaiian culture and environmental stewardship while growing in healthy self-concept and life skills.

Hookuaaina is a non-profit nestled in the ahupuaa of Kailua, Oahu. Through the cultivation of kalo, we provide a safe gathering space for community to grow in their connection to culture, place, and one another.
