(St Francis Adult Day Center) We provide a secure environment that is ideal for aging loved ones who cannot remain at home alone during the day, cannot perform all the activities of daily living but do not need 24/7 professional care, need social stimulation to prevent loneliness or depression, or need assistance with walking. Our adult day care programs offer a range of supervised activities in an uplifting, positive environment to enhance the quality of life for Hawaii’s seniors. Adult day care provides a way for seniors to remain at home as they age. They can enjoy the company of other seniors in a secure, nurturing environment. This allows family members to work during the day with peace of mind, knowing their loved one is in good hands. We provide intellectual stimulation, physical exercise, camaraderie with other seniors, and much more. Some of our activities include: Arts & crafts and music Exercise and therapeutic activities Intergenerational learning experiences Field trips and guest presentations St. Francis Healthcare System offers two adult day centers: the Franciscan Adult Day Center in Manoa and the St. Francis Intergenerational Center in Ewa Villages. Both locations offer exciting ways to make new friends and enjoy fun activities with others.
