What's Here
Providing organization
Aikido of Hilo
Aikido of Hilo is an educational organization dedicated to teaching and spreading our Way of Harmony. We provide regular classes at our main location in Hilo and in Waimea. We offer public demonstrations at our dojo and at various community locations throughout the year.
Aikido teaches a non-fighting, non-agressive way of self defense and conflict resolution. Unlike some martial arts which focus on winning in combat, the main purpose of aikido is to produce better individuals and to promote harmony and peace among all people.
