Working with others to conserve, protect, and enhance fish, wildlife, and plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people. Administers to the Hawaiian/Pacific Islands Refuges on the islands. Those islands are Oahu, Kauai, Maui, Big Island, Guam, Midway and the Pacific remote islands including, French Frigate Shoals, Laysan, Howland, Baker, Jarvis and Rose. For information on NWR system week events every October, select "Special Events".
