Assets do not exceed $10,000 for guardianships or $100,000 for probate.

For probate: Need to bring certified copy of death certificate, past taxes, indication of ownership of probatable assets. For guardianship: Need to bring birth certificate, state ID card, Social Security card

Fees

Small Estates - 3% government realization fee on the gross assets, plus other administrative costs incurred by the estate. Small Guardianship - free.

Service area

Oahu
Provides probate for real property under $100,000 with or without a will. Establishes guardianship for minors or incompetents where the protected person's assets do not exceed $10,000.
